No. Skilled Trades Ontario's scheduling page, checked 2026-09-27, states a mandatory 30-day wait after an unsuccessful exam and requires another exam payment before rescheduling. It lists the exam fee as $150 plus HST.
The waiting period does not reserve a sitting. Ask STO to confirm the earliest date you may write and follow the instructions for your account. Keep these three items on a checklist: rewrite eligibility confirmed, payment completed, booking confirmed. Do not treat one as proof of the other two.
What if you are still waiting for your result?
STO's June 2026 Exam Preparation Guide says results are published in the STO portal within 15 business days, with an email notification and a paper copy to follow. Business days differ from calendar days. Another candidate's faster result does not establish your result or your deadline.
